When you're standing on the side of a hill...

Id like to revisit the winter, the days of my crappy old car (i have a new one now) and snow on the ground. Often on days that it snowed a lot, we would close earlier on in the day and get to go home, but we would always open at some part of the day.

One day, the snow on the streets had all melted and the only snow you saw were in yards or far to the sides of the roads, it started to snow again. Mixing with the water on the road made a slushy slippery mess of fuck. With my 1990 Geo Prizm (does anyone even know this car?) I got the best traction on the roads...not. I was delivering across the street to a condo complex which was down a hill. A HILL A GLORIOUS HILL! A hill in which my car had no traction on and my car decided to say "fuck you delivery boy, im not going to stop in time." I slid all the way into a massive snowbank going around 15 miles an hour, causing an avalanche of snow to fall on my car and get stuck. I got out of my car, closed the door and realize. SHIT, i left the keys in the ignition. I walked to deliver the pizza, then walked back to my work, in which i had to wait for my friend to drive down to my house, get the spare key, and bring it to me so that i could get into my car.

FUN!

  1. I'm glad there are no big hills where I live.

  2. Did you tell the people who got the pizza about it? I would have given you a massive tip for still delivering my pizza.

  6. Locked my keys in my car last winter at the grocery store. Cold walk was cold, but I guess my juice didn't thaw out.
